We all have those moments, don’t we? Split second decisions that impact our lives far more than we could ever imagine. And many years ago, when as a kid I strolled into our family TV room one Saturday morning to find my father watching football... little did I know that my decision to sit down and watch the game would lead me to the point of no return. Little did I know that my decision to announce, emphatically – and yet – with no rhyme nor reason, “I like the team in red” would be the beginning of the end of my football innocence. And little did I know... on that uneventful Saturday morning when I aimlessly watched my first 90 minutes of football?
I had just sold my soul to the Red Devils.
Seeing them live for the first time merely confirmed what my instinct told me many years ago...
I really like the team in red.
